Hello, I’m Galina Peterson, the hands and heart behind Loaves & Mountains Bakery.
My journey into baking is deeply personal. Adopted from Russia at age four, I grew up surrounded by the beauty of the American landscape. It was here in the mountains of Georgia that I discovered my calling: to create food that is as honest and nourishing as the earth it comes from.
After professional training, I turned away from commercial baking to embrace a simpler, more purposeful path. I believe in the magic of wild yeast, the integrity of freshly milled organic grains, and the unparalleled richness of eggs from our own happy, pasture-raised hens. This isn't just baking; it's a commitment to real food and transparent ingredients.
